UCPRUK is an Indonesian yayasan operating in partnership with US based - UCP Wheels for Humanity (UCPWFH). UCPWFH has been providing disability related services worldwide for over 16 years.  As part of the United Cerebral Palsy family of  organizations, UCP Wheels for Humanity is focused on the quality of work provided internationally and the development of progressive programs supporting individuals with disabilities.

In 2009 UCPWFH established an Indonesian yayasan, UCPRUK as an implementing partner for a USAID funded project.  This project’s initial focus was the development of local capacities for large-scale wheelchair production, the implementation of a local mobility service network, as well as disability empowerment & advocacy programs. UCPRUK continues to develop new disability related programs and will be a long-term program in Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

UCPRUK is seeking an experienced, driven and goal oriented Program Manager to have oversight over a variety of programs that support people with disabilities.  Programs include provision of mobility devices, training for partners on clinical services, product development of mobility devices, advocacy programs, parent support groups and ongoing data collection to support evidence-based practices.  This is a dynamic position that requires a candidate with a wide range of skills; most importantly staff management and strategic program development. The ideal candidate will join UCPRUK with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an NGO or INGO setting.


Oversee and manage program implementation, activities and deliverables of program staff and consultants
- Support program team in completing identified goals in service, outreach, training, advocacy and empowerment
-  Ensure program targets and objectives within the identified budget
-  Assist in programmatic and partnership development for existing and future program activities
-  Create quarterly programmatic reports for funding agencies and headquarters
-  Serve as organization representative at conferences and events
-  Provide monthly profiles on clients, partnerships and achievements to support organizational marketing and social media

Requirements:

-  5 + years NGO/INGO work experience in program and staffing management
-  Relevant education background with a minimum of a Bachelors Degree
-  Excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, work independently, while meeting deadlines.
-  Ability to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both verbally and in writing with staff, local and foreign experts and government officials
-  Proficient command of Microsoft Office applications
-  Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
